I updated my Book Review Policy and added a note to my readers.
I really enjoyed the interview. I signed the Blog With Integrity pledge, too, and put the badge on my blog. I just wish we didn't have to keep having this discussion over and over again. It's sad that some people believe bloggers can't be objective when given review copies. The "professional" reviewers working for newspapers, etc., receive review copies and aren't questioned.

That's what I'm wondering...why is it different for a "professional" review than for a "book review blogger?"
ReplyDeleteBecause people are more jealous of the book review blogger who gets up and DOES something than of the pro, who's getting paid.
