Weekly Geeks: Favorite Books Published in 2008

This Week's challenge is to list our favorite books that we have read and were published in 2008.

Here they are: (links to my reviews are included)

1. The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary Pearson ( You knew this would be on this list)
2. The Lost Diary of Don Juan by Douglas Carlton Abrams
3. The Host by Stephenie Meyer
4. Mrs. Lieutenant: A Sharon Gold Novel by Phyllis Zimbler Miller

I'm sure this list will expand, but up until this point these are the ones I've read that were published this year.

I enjoyed The Host and Mrs. Lieutenant, but haven't read the other two. The Adoration of Jenna Fox is on my list to read after the tour books.

My favorite reads published this year are Nefertiti, The Islands of Divine Music, Falling Under, Going Down South, Black Flies, and The Painter From Shanghai.

I've recently finished "Hot, Flat And Crowded" by Thomas L. Friedman and "Green Goes With Everything" by Sloan Barnett. My favorite book this year by far has been "You: The Owner's Manual" by Drs. Roizen and Oz.

I hope to pick up Debbie Macomber's "A Cedar Cove Christmas" and read it during the holidays.

Live long and prosper, Serena. :D

I've only read The Host and didn't quite like it as much as others did but it was ok. I really have to think about what my favorites have been-there have been so many.

I may have liked the host more than others because I was so disappointed with breaking dawn. But I really haven't read that many published in 2008 books this year. I always seem behind!
