The writing goal for last week was to continue work on the third poem I started, but it just didn't happen this week. I really had a tough time juggling work, running a giveaway, posting interviews, and the numerous other projects I had going on.
Suffice to say, this was a disappointing week for me.
However, I did take Arlene Ang's advice and submit some poems to two zines, Envoi and Identity Theory.
Writing Goal Week #9
I strive to do better this week. I hope to work on the third poem or create some new poems this week. Wish me luck!

well, the good thing is last week is over and you can start anew on your writing goal. So good luck to you - I'm sure it'll be better! :)
Well, life does tend to get in the way, doesn't it? But just keep on going and good for you for submitting your poems!
I would say submitting a few of your poems was an acomplishment in itself. Life unfortunately never has those neat structured moments. We do the best we can with what we have and the unexpected moments fall into our laps. Here's to a more fulfilling week ahead dear friend! (Hugs)Indigo
Iliana: I am happy that last week is over, and I plan to get started this afternoon on some poems.
Jenners: Thanks for the encouragement.
Indigo: I guess submitting poems is an accomplishment...its the waiting that kills me. :) Thanks for the encouragement.
You keep moving in the right direction! Even though you didn't get as much done as you had planned, you made progress, and the poem submissions were another step!
Dawn: thanks for the encouragement. I will try not to be so hard on myself.
Good luck with the submissions! You're making progress, even if it's not with your stated weekly goal. I've been swamped, too, so I know how you feel. Maybe this week will be less stressful. (Yeah, right!)

Anna: I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the submissions.
Good luck, Serena! At least you submitted those two poems!
Shana: Thanks. I actually submitted about 5 between the publications...so we'll see how it goes.
