Mailbox Monday #50

Welcome to another Mailbox Monday, sponsored by Marcia at The Printed Page.

We're trying to slow down on the number of books accepted, but I can't stop myself from buying books?!

This week, I didn't purchase any books, thankfully, but I did get a few in the mail:

1.  The Imperial Cruise by James Bradley from Hatchette for review in late November.

2.  True Compass: A Memoir by Edward M. Kennedy from Hatchette for review; I still cannot believe he is gone, though he had suffered so much in the end.

3.  Evil for Evil by James R. Benn, which is the fourth book in his Billy Boyle WWII Mystery Series, signed by the author and from Author Buzz giveaway.

4.  The Bum Magnet by K.L. Brady signed by the author and for review.  I also received an additional signed copy for an international giveaway, so stay tuned.

What did you get in your mailbox?

I very much want to read True Compass. Like you, I still can't believe Ted Kennedy is no longer with us. :(

I'm thinking that maybe if I participated in this meme, I might actually REMEMBER where my books come from. This is a big issue with me. Great books! I'm looking forward to someone reviewing True Compass.

I should read the first 3 in the Billy Boyle series. They're sitting patiently on my shelf. LOL

Enjoy your new books!

I too am waiting for a review on True Compass. It's sad to think he is gone. So much sadness in one family.

Nice variety. I never heard of the Billy Boyle series. Guess I need to check it out. I still have 2 more books to read for the WWII challenge.

You've got a bunch of books that I haven't seen before. Except for maybe Ted Kennedy one. He is everywhere. Couldn't have missed that.

The Ted Kennedy book is the only one that's familiar to me too! Happy reading!

For me not to add any books to my TBR pile would mean me staying away from the computer for awhile. Everytime I log on I see something I want to add. It's nearly impossible to catch-up.

So nice to receive 4 new books and not have to pay for even one. They all sound interesting.

THE BUM MAGNET should get a prize for the funniest book title I've seen all day!

I've really cut down on books coming into the house as well Serena. I haven't even been buying any with the dog being sick. I may have to do some book shopping here soon online. Happy Reading.
