Mailbox Monday #71

I cannot believe that the last storm passed over us without dropping snow.  Yes, there were flakes in the air, but none of them stuck.  Poor New England and my mom. . .she got some snow this weekend.

Marcia at The Printed Page and Kristi of The Story Siren both sponsor memes in which bloggers share what books they've received in the past week.  I'm going to continue calling these Mailbox Mondays, but The Story Siren also has In My Mailbox.

Here's what I received:

1.  Poetry Speaks:  Who I Am edited by Elise Paschen

2.  Pride and Prejudice and Zombies:  Dawn of the Dreadfuls by Steve Hockensmith

What did you get in your mailbox?

I received the poetry book too! I'm anxious to read it because I don't "do" much poetry!

It seems the Jane Austen books are getting renewed success in their funny, macabre remakes. Enjoy your books!

I think I need to take a poetry appreciation class or something. I used to read a lot more poetry when I was a teenager, but have had a hard time really getting into it as an adult. I wish it appealed to me more. That being said, I love the mailbox combo of poetry and zombies. :)
