Moonlight!

I've talked about my love of vampires many times on this blog, attempted to campaign to save my two beloved vampire shows from cancellation, and have even converted some readers into fans.

I wanted to announce that I recently got my hands on the Moonlight DVD! Yes, the complete season is out for your viewing pleasure. It must be popular because I went to three stores to find my copy last night, rather than wait for Amazon to deliver it to me.

Best Buy was a bust, and the staff couldn't find the copy that the computer system claimed was in the store. We headed to Wal-Mart next, which was right next door since we were headed their for fish tank filters, I figured it was a good bet. Unfortunately, there were no Moonlight DVDs in the store, and I don't dare ask Wal-Mart workers any questions. Then I had to follow my husband to the store looking for filters and other items, which seemed to take forever. Didn't he know I was on a mission?

Finally, we headed to Target, where I snatched up my copy of Moonlight! It was one of only two copies on the shelf. It's either that this show is so popular the DVDs are no where to be found, or it isn't that popular so they have very few in stock. You can imagine what I did when I got home!

I watched two full episodes and started a third before I realized that it was nearly 10PM and past my bed time. You can imagine I'm dragging butt this morning, but I have something to look forward to when I get home.

S. Krishna: I know they are doing re-runs on SciFi to generate interest, see if they want to pick up the show...you should start watching there and the DVD

Lenore: I have to get true blood on dvd, I don't have HBO. But its something I've heard a great deal about.

I saw Moonlight last May Long Weekend at my MIL's. I was scarily sucked in (no pun) but we don't have tv, so I haven't seen it since.

I was a huge Buffy and then Angel fan. I love vampires.

Serena said...

Tamara: I love Moonlight and I liked Buffy, but Angel was fantastic.

This DVD is going to drive me crazy! :)

Anniegirl: No tv...that's a good thing, more time for books. Moonlight is a wonderful show to be sucked into.

The first vampire book I've read was the Twilight series, but I LOVED Buffy and Angel (tv series). I can't say that I'm familiar with Moonlight - I'm going to have to go look it up!

I've left you an award! Stop by when you get a chance and pick it up!

I'm glad you finally found your DVD! I've been on quests like that too!

And I have enjoyed this interview meme! I read Dawn's and she gave me some questions so I'm going to work on those soon.

And did I mention to you how much I love "Gods Behaving Badly"? It is soooooo much fun to read! I'm almost done! Going to get an A+ from me. I'm so glad I won it from your blog!

I think I may be one of the only people who isn't enamored with vampires. I have all of the Twilight books. As pretty as they are, I just can't get started with them. I will say that your poster-boy vampire is very handsome. Maybe I'm not thinking about this the right way...

I loved Moonlight. I was so upset when that was taken off. I'm glad you got the DVD, I'm so jealous. I'm going to have to check here if we've got it out. I'll definitely be picking that up.

Serena said...

Danger: I agree, they are everywhere, but I won't complain.

Wendi: Thanks for the award. I will check it out.

Jenners: I am so glad that you are enjoying Gods Behaving Badly! I loved that book.

LiterateHousewife: Vampires are not for everyone I suppose. Alex is the reason I watched the show...he is hot!

Dar: Its so fun to revisit this series...I'm addicted all over again!
