Day 3 of the PAD Challenge and here's Yesterday's Prompt. The challenge is to fill in the blank of this title "The Problem With BLANK" and to make that the title of the poem. Ready to see my rough draft? Here it is:
The Problem With Blogging
To blog or not to blog?
That is a question.
I’ve heard the alarm,
buzzing in my ear all morning.
First a shower,
then get some clothes on
and head out the door for the 9-to-5
Here I sit,
hair sticking up and snarled,
fingers planted on cold keys.
Pjs wrinkled and damp with sweat.
The sun coming up behind me,
a shower forgotten.
Grammar and spelling checked,
images positioned where I want them,
an entry waiting to be published.
Just hit that orange button and
we can get on with the day
of checking comments and replying.

Love it! I think we've all been there. I've been procrastinating about writing a post all day!
This is great! Every morning (after a shower!) I go downstairs and turn on my laptop ... then I start the coffee :)
I'm glad you both enjoyed this poem. I was having a hard time with the prompt. :) I also had a tough time with day's prompt, but it will be up tonight.

I was thinking about the things I hate and the things I enjoy, and this is what came out. It took me the better part of the day to narrow down the subject for this poem, but I'm glad everyone seems to enjoy this one.
